Having smores on Vacation

Getting ready to roast smores. Thomas Howard (Trey's brother-in-law and Niki's husband) is helping the kids roast without losing their marshmellows in the fire. And making sure two boys (Lukas and Hayden) don't fall in the fire. Lukas and Hayden are only 10 days apart in age.
Hayden said to heck with the smores I just want the chocolate! Man after my own heart! Lukas was the same although we didn't get a picture of it. Lukas was walking around with 3/4 of the large hersey's bar in his hands trying to eat it.

Toby loves smores and I am pretty sure he had at least 4 of them to eat that night. Looks like he is wearing half of it as well! LOL!

Lukas said to heck with waiting and decides to eat marshmellows. Yes, he put the entire thing in his mouth.

Sydni Carson, caught eating the graham crackers but I'm sure she had atleast 3 smores as well. She is 9 and going into the 4th grade. She is Niki and Thomas' oldest daugther. They live in Georgetown, SC and meet us at the KOA campground to camp with us.

Niki is supervising Lukas while he plays in the fire. Good thing he wears a diaper to bed since he is playing in the fire.

Lukas at the ocean

Of course Lukas loves the water as well and wanted to follow Toby out to the bigger waves. We all had a great time in the ocean but as usual for Myrtle it was very crowded. I love this picture of Lukas. He is so very happy!

Vacation 2010

Toby loves the ocean and swimming in general. He was out playing in the waves and doing a karate chop to keep from getting dunked.

Vacation 2010 at Myrtle Beach, SC

Lukas enjoyed playing in the ocean. He was getting brave with the waves and wanting to go out farther and farther. Dad enjoyed dunking him in the water as well.

Mighty Hunter

Trey and his father (Jim) went up to mom and dad's to do some deer hunting the week after Thanksgiving. He left the next morning after we got home from there and drove back up there the 10 hour drive. It was COLD and the first morning out Trey's dad missed this deer and Trey ended up killing him. He's a 7 point 204 lb buck. We got LOTS of deer jerky, snack sticks, and summer sausage from him. This is the biggest deer Trey has ever killed and he was very happy. He still didn't get the big boy he's seen in the past but there is always next year. Congrats oh mighty hunter...

Happy 80th Birthday Mom!

Arlene had her 80th birthday on 11/20/09 and we all got together after Thanksgiving to help her celebrate. We had a nice dinner at Rita's in Bryan where everyone met for good food! We all had a lot of fun. Kay did her reading and mom said she wanted to give a speech but didn't get a chance. Oh well...there is always next year when she's 81. Thanks for everyone who came we all had a great time and I know mom did as well. Martha
